Description

Named after the Greek Titan of destruction and peace, the Nerf Rival Perses MXIX-5000 is the fastest shooting blaster in the Rival series. The rate of the fire fully depends on the user, however, it’s very similar to the Kronos, and I was able to prime and fire about 1.5 rounds per second. But your mileage might vary. The loading tube features a sort of a one-way entrance – or easy in, not so easy out entrance. This ensures that if you tip the blaster over you are not going to see 29 (it always happens then) balls rolling off under the couch. The four barrels in the front rotate every priming and the spring in the magazine pushes the foam balls forward once the place is emptied.

This blaster is powered by six D cell batteries but can be upgraded with a rechargeable lipo battery—which increases its performance. Speaking of which. Nemesis Performance The Artemis has an average performance compared to other Rival blasters. It shoots on average 90 to 100 fps with a range of 100 feet. It has a rather small ammo capacity, only holding five Rival Rounds in its internal magazine. However, in my testing, I was able to cram six rounds in without any feeding issues. I was a little disappointed by the Zeus and Atlas. They both had their good points, but only the Apollo (mainly because it is such good value for money) and the Khaos left me with an idea of how good the Rival range could be.So yeah slam firing 30 rounds or Rival ammo only takes about ten seconds and is as much fun as you thought!

The clear tubes in the rear are where the ammo is stored. These are not removable magazines like the Zeus or Apollo, they are integrated into the blaster. This is not too bad, but once in awhile, I found myself dry-fire and then have two rounds pop out a prime or two later. It has enough ammo that you are unlikely to run out in a single melee and it is easier to reload than it is to reload a magazine (especially the one like the Khaos!) as you can top it up from a dump pouch pretty fast while in cover. Plus you can still leave a few shots in the chamber so you are not entirely defenseless.
