About this deal

But suppose you need a lot more power? In that case, you’ll need to pay more for a vacuum with a stronger motor. One good option is the Dreame Bot Z10 Pro. It provides 4,000Pa of suction, and it has a self-emptying dust bin with a bag in the charging base. You’ll only need to empty it once a month or so. If you would like to know how you can control the D5s Pro, you can use the remote control or the Ultenic app to: When many people think about technology, they think about the flashy things. Every time a new iPhone comes out with an even sharper camera, thousands of blog posts are made. But technology isn’t just about entertainment. First and foremost, it’s about quality of life. To be fair, entertainment is a big part of that. Life is a little bit more enjoyable thanks to things like Netflix and video games. But quality of life can come in many forms. For example, medical advances that cure debilitating illnesses, or using escalators instead of stairs.

Equipped with extra 2-in-1 dustbin with water tank, D5s Pro robotic vacuum cleaner supports to vacuum and mop simultaneously. Simply set your desired water flow and the electronically controlled water tank can handle the rest. If you move the robot to a different floor of your home, it will re-map the space, but it doesn’t save both maps so that you can easily switch between them. There’s a workaround, though: by accessing the cleaning records, you can find previous maps and tell the app to switch to one of these. This is an unnecessarily clunky way of getting to other maps, and definitely an area that can be improved upon in future updates. The mobile application that can be used with the Ultenic D5S Pro, in case you don’t want to deal with the remote control is called Ultenic and it’s available for both iOS and Android devices. After installing the app, it will require access to Bluetooth (to detect the Ultenic D5S Pro), your location (I said no) and to send Notifications, which I again, refused. Then, the top section should come off, but do it gently because there are two additional connectors that you need to carefully remove (one for the buttons and the other, I think it’s for the antennas). You’ll be then able to see the motherboard with its myriad of connectors. And, as you can see, despite being very similar, it’s not really the same board as the one on the Kyvol E20. The connectors are positioned the same, the layout is almost identical, but the board version is different and the CPU is different as well. When it does not occasionally wander around, the D5s Pro is aware of its surroundings. It has an anti-drop sensor to avoid falling off heights. Furthermore, it can climb 20 mm thresholds. Cleaning modes

In mopping mode, when the vacuum suction is switched off, the T10 uses very little battery life. During testing, it mopped for 90 minutes and used only 10% of the battery. Besides auto cleaning, you can opt for spot cleaning, which is to clean a designated area where the D5s Pro will spiral about one meter in diameter and then spiral inward within that diameter. The tear-down process of the Ultenic D5S Pro will most likely leave you without a warranty, so it’s better to send it to the competent parties if something is faulty with the device. My unit was fine, I just needed to understand the device more, so I removed the bumper screws and detached the sensor connector. Then, I removed the larger screws from the bottom of the Ultenic D5S Pro and took out the rolling brush to find the two remaining screws. Left: Ultenic D5S Pro. Right: Kyvol E20.

Although I look forward to when vacuum cleaners will be able to move silently in the bedroom while we’re sleeping, we’re still not there and the DC motor remains fairly noisy. And the Ultenic D5S Pro has three speed levels, the slower one being the most efficient in terms of power, while the higher level will do better on a carpet. So, I took a sound meter and measured how loud the Ultenic D5S Pro gets at the lowest level (while I was about 5 feet away). It was about about 50dB, so it was audible, but not annoying during the day (not great during the night). In the middle of the bottom of the housing, you’ll see the main roller brush. This is big and wavy, with bristles that are safe for hardwoods. To either side, and towards the front, there are a pair of horizontal brushes. These look like little propellers, and sweep out to the side to gather in more dirt. They do a great job of collecting scattered debris on solid floors. On carpets, they’re less effective, but they don’t hurt anything. Behind the main brush, there’s an attachment area for the mopping pad. The mopping pad itself is a simple piece of microfiber, and is easy to attach and remove. The nice thing about it being microfiber is that it’s durable and reusable. Just throw it in the washer when it gets nasty, and it will come out as good as new. With it, control your robot vacuums or humidifiers just on your phone easily.Every aspect of theUltenicApp is designed to give you ultimate convenience over your needs. The app is intrusive since it adamantly requests your location and it needs to have Internet access to be able to see the vacuum cleaner The Ultenic D5s Pro is a decent option if you are in the market for a robot vac-mop to clean your home. We’re about to review the Ultenic D5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop. Not only does it work without needing to take your rugs outside, but it cleans your floor automatically. But that’s just the basic function you expect from any robot vacuum. To find out whether the D5s in particular is worth owning, we had to look closer at all of its unique features. Now, we’ll take a deep dive into its physical design, as well as the suction power. We’ll go over the mopping function, and how the navigation works. Once we’ve touched on all the various factors, we’ll be in a position to render a fair verdict. Let’s see how this robot vacuum compares to the competition!

Easy-to-use app with all the settings we’d expect, but we’d like to see improvements in multiple map storage and access. Under the hood, there are plenty of intelligent features, such as 360-degree laser scanning and mapping, radar navigation, and automatic suction boost on carpet. There’s HEPA filtration, plus the use of bags avoids the inevitable cloud of dust when emptying dirt into the trash, making it a great choice for allergy sufferers. I was excited to see more affordable vacuum cleaners enter the market, but then things got a bit weird since there is essentially an avalanche of this type of devices, mostly from under the Xiaomi umbrella. Don’t get me wrong, I am more than happy to see that these nifty devices are now affordable enough to be owned by most people, but this meant that there aren’t many differences between the available models. And yes, despite seemingly coming from different brands, I did see robot vacuum cleaners that were almost identical. This takes us to the Ultenic D5S Pro which sports a glass top panel and a circular section in the middle that’s there only for aesthetic purposes. One thing that somewhat disappointed us was the 400ml dust bin. This isn’t tiny, but it’s smaller by 20 percent than the average 500ml robot vacuum dust bin. The result is that you’ll have to empty the vacuum more often than many others. If that’s a deal-breaker for you, there are plenty of other options. One good example is the Bagotte BG750. It has similar features to the D5s, but with a large, 600ml dust bin. On the flip side, it’s a touch more expensive. On carpet, the T10 was effective at cleaning up surface dust and debris, leaving the carpet looking clean. We did notice hair becoming tangled around the roller brush, though, but a tool is supplied to make it easy to cut this away. In terms of other maintenance, the self-emptying feature means the vacuum doesn’t require too much attention. But the brushes, sensors and filter will all need occasional cleaning to keep it running at the optimum performance level. Happily, the app keeps tabs on the life of the various replaceable parts and will alert when they need replacing. The smart D5s Pro robot with upgraded sensors maps and creates a high-efficiency cleaning path for every room. Thoroughly cleans with 3 selective cleaning modes - auto cleaning, edge cleaning, spot cleaning can meet your various vacuuming needs.
