However, this is definitely not a scent for the summer, but perfect for winter and fall, and maybe even spring. Having expected a deep, vanilla heavy aromatic bomb, the bright citrus opening scared the hell out of me. this is in the same family as mon guerlain, but i don't find them to be dupes AT ALL, because mon guerlain is based around lavender. It really is too weak though, and unfortunately, this isn't the kind of weak you can fix by simply spraying more. It's like his cologne mingled with my perfume, but it's only the Guess seductive noir I'd applied a couple hours before bed.

It is reminiscent of vince camuto without the rum note, and slightly similar to loulou but without the plastic or powderiness of that one. Does bear a resemblance to Banana Republic Tobacco and Tonka Bean but Guess Seductive Noir is more powdery and more aromatic. Like someone else mentioned this smells as if you hugged a man and his cologne intermingled with your scent. This smells expensive and not too gourmand--you smell like the person who gets to eat the fancy pastry, not the fancy pastry itself. In the opening it smells insanely similar to Mon Guerlain to me, but in the dry down it starts smelling more and more different.

The fruits also star at the beginning of this scent only, however don't notice as much as the deep floral, personally.

I like it a lot, but it's really close to Mon Guerlain which is frankly much better quality both in terms of the scent and the bottle. I’d been wearing Mon Guerlain — one of my top 5— all day before I tried on Guess Noir Seductive, and to my nose it is absolutely a dupe, with an aromatic twist. There's sweetness that ties everything together and gives it the needed femininity, but the sweetness is not the star of the show it's the aromatic tone.I’m terrible explaining notes, but I assure you if you like dark, sexy, warm perfumes you may enjoy Guess Seductive Noir. Seductive Noir just sits there, flat, unwilling to drape around you even an inch, let alone trail behind you, before it weakens further and evaporates. I don't get any sage or LOTV, which is good, I wasn't sure how that would play with the rest of the notes. I wore this to a work function, sprayed heavily on a chunky sweater, and I could smell myself all day.
