Our projects rotated from Day and Night pastel drawings, Build Your Own Environment using found objects (recycled items donated to the museum by guests – they had tons! A colorful collage of a favorite character by Carle, featured in his beloved feline classic Have You Seen My Cat? I taped the leaf with the caterpillar onto the shorter piece of wire and simply wound the other taller wire around the butterfly body.Essays and critical appreciations of his works, and color photographs showing how the artist creates his unique collage illustrations add to the interest and usefulness of this book.
