We are, though, the only generation between the Norman conquest and the year 3000 to experience two palindromic years within a normal lifetime. Perhaps fortunately for our palindromists, English rude words are more resistant to reversal than their Greek equivalents. Lockdown collab with our friends at Beer-Ink, with 120kg of pulped blackberries in the brew to create this hazed purple sour. I did not find the "product placements" to be intrusive -- which I'm sure is what the film makers intended. However, now I now realize that this movie's point is to slow us down in our daily lives and that the alternate ending is just a witty way to make people to take a break from their schedule.

Another unique idea that I thought was presented very well was just the urgency all of us feel is required in life. This may be a reference to Weird Al Yankovic's "BOB" where one of the lyrics include "Do Geese See God" as a part of the entire set of palindromes that make up the lyrics of that song. Telly Savalas is an actor best known for playing the part of police detective Kojak on the 1970s cop drama of the same name. We do this every morning and every night, which is symbolized by the repetition of finding the CD and starting the sequence all over again.Pehaps that is not a negative from the film-maker's perspective because you do get very involved in the perspective of the "man.

A simple commentary on the life of a typical person in today's world, those who are running through life and not getting anywhere. As I described the tasks the man must go through as "arbitrary", I began to wonder whether the director might have intended a subtle jab at religion. The meaning of the film is found in the emotion, the rush, the pace, and the incongruent of the screen life with the evergreen that sits quietly at the "real screen" of the window of the city.

It's by a Mike Clelland of Driggs, adopts the road movie genre and is a pretty good effort even if the characters do say "wow" a lot. So thanks for that, and also I like the animal directness of the quacks juxtaposed with the human loftiness of “do geese see god? I particularly loved the sound design - listen to how Underwood's movements are synchronised with the sounds of traffic in some shots. Awkward" and Do Geese See God each spell the same thing forward and backward, further symbolizing the relentless swing of the pendulum of life. Leigh Mercer was such a celebrated palindromist, perhaps most lauded for this 1914 classic: "A man, a plan, a canal - Panama! For those who haven't even looked at the DT series, but enjoyed this short film, take a moment and discover one of the most interesting Stephen King novels I've ever read.

I wasn’t sure which, but I tried to help him out by finding some deeper meaning to attribute, rather than burst his bubble with anything other than a nod of agreement. Do you subscribe to the point of view that there might be deep meaning hidden somewhere in a phrase that reads the same in both directions? But that's the point - you are supposed to feel uneasy repeating everything exactly, and getting nowhere new. Hey Daeclan, I unfortunately don’t have any expertise to offer toward your feedback areas, but I wanted to say that this piece made me dance and smile and laugh all at once, which I think is a rare and wonderful experience to have with a song. This mysterious form of wordplay known as the palindrome--in which a group of phrases can be read both forwards and backwards--has bewitched and beguiled readers for centuries and, due to its mirrored, dualistic quality, was at one point considered to have magical powers.I know it is a palindrome (spelled the same way backwards and forwards), as is the character's name, "Dr. Awkward, the main character, represented the American dream with his nice clothes and TV, yet that did not mean he had everything he wanted. Then latter in the ending sequence they keep repeating the exact footage not in flash back but because the director was simply too lazy shoot different actions in different ways. I'm watching the same scene, the same people, interact in the same way and all I have to do is to stop and smell the roses. They say the sutra was a palindrome, but some of the characters have been dropped through transcription.
