About this deal

This is the second of only two Fireman Sam video releases to contain the 1981-1988 BBC Video Ident from when it was originally released in 1988 until it was re-released with the 1991-1997 BBC Video Ident in 1993. Previously released on Fireman Sam 1: The Hero Next Door - BBCV 4101 and Fireman Sam: Treasure Hunt and Five Other Stories - BBCV 5464) Sam, Sarah and James are all set for a camping adventure. The tent is up and the eggs are cooking nicely on the campfire. Then, Trevor arrives with his bus on fire. It just isn't Bella Lasagne's day. First, she has a fire in her cafe. And then, her cat - Rosa - goes missing. It looks like it's going to be a busy day for Fireman Sam.

Version 2 is The 1993 Re-Release which contains The 1991-1997 BBC Video Ident along with a slide for Fireman Sam 1, Fireman Sam 3-6 and The Very Best of Fireman Sam and from that point onwards, all subsequent re-releases contained The 1991-1997 BBC Video Ident. When the team set out to sort out the fire at Bella's cafe, the garage doors look to be already painted. This is due to reusing standard response clips. This is the first Fireman Sam video release to be released by BBC Video and is also the first of only two Fireman Sam video releases to contain the 1981-1988 BBC Video Ident from when it was originally released in 1988 until it was re-released with the 1991-1997 BBC Video Ident in 1993. Fireman Sam is a British animated comedy children's series about a fireman named Sam, his fellow firefighters, and other residents in the fictional Welsh rural village of Pontypandy (a portmanteau of two real towns, Pontypridd and Tonypandy). The original idea for the show came from two ex-firemen from London, England, who took their idea to artist and writer Rob Lee who developed the concept, and the show was commissioned.Phew, it's hot outside today!
