If you want the static white light on event, then yes you need to get the models ending LU (2347/2387) but as stated above they're not an old model. They are current. The second model you linked is a G1 camera. That is an older discontinued model (it has ColorVu but does not have AcuSense). ColorVu Technology works to provide full colour images 24/7. The camera is able to achieve this with a large iris, high-performance sensor and built-in white LED supplement lighting.
