About this deal

I’ve got strong thoughts on my three favourite races, all of which coincidentally didn’t make it in to the initial second season release (if the leaks are true). As you can probably tell those are Chaos Dwarf, High Elf and Vampire. The latter two changes being the most important in my eyes. Because there is now a more complex team set up I moved re-rolls to 60k inline with the norse roster. Dan: While I get what you’re saying, I do feel the need to point out that every Skaven coach everywhere has no problem feeding their own rats to a Rat Ogre. Additionally, his special rule means that once per game, his Animal Savagery punch can be used on an opposition player instead of one of your own! That’s really good! It’s like a free Mighty Blow Stab once per game! With Glotl’s ST6, Frenzy , Stand Firm , and Prehensile Tail he’s the ultimate cage smasher and is well worth the 270k gp price tag. Count down the days to Christmas with the Space Marines Chibi advent calendar from BANDAI – the 41st Millennium has never looked so cute! If you missed out on one of these last year, you can grab one now and add 24 Chibi Space Marines figures to your collection – including a special paint-your-own Marine that can be from any Chapter.

This article was written for a previous version of the Blood Bowl rules and has some outdated information in it. You might still find it contains some useful information. These are some brilliant suggestions. I would love to see them updated now that the leaks are a little more concrete. So onto the High Elf Thrower, Safe Throw has been split into two skills (Cloud Burster being the new skill to help avoid interceptions). I’d like to think that they keep both components of Safe Throw to maintain their status as being the best long passer in the game. Losing either of these would be very disappointing so I’ve got my fingers crossed. Khemri Teams Having said that, while I think the team is less strong now, I do think it’ll be a much more interesting team to actually play and to play against. It’s not a drastic change, but adding more variance in MA and STR across the team, as well as some oddball skills, definitely makes them less of a milquetoast experience. As you start with four rerolls, you could just max the team out with Linewomen up to the needed eleven. You do have 40k left over from doing that though which will let you upgrade two of them to Throwers or Catchers as you see fit. There are arguments for starting with both Throwers, both Catchers or one of each. Early on though you will want to score with your Blitzers to get Guard as soon as possible. Which is more effective to start with between Throwers or Catchers really doesn’t make much difference because of that.Their movement is ridiculously low for a team that really only has agility going for it. They are comprehensively the slowest low armour team and are slower than NORMAL HUMANS who have considerably better survivability. Which is incomprehensible to me. I’m not sure why Norse teams didn’t make the cut. They seemed to be pretty well balanced already so I wouldn’t expect to see much in the way of changes to them. Feel differently? Then let me know below and tell me why! Slann / Kislev Teams The content engines of Warhammer+ are operating at full power, creating brand new shows, animations, and more for you to devour every Wednesday.

Glotl is an incredible defensive asset with his unparalleled cage-smashing ability, his inbuilt crowd surfing threat, and his potential for removal. He’s also extremely effective at setting the corner of your own cage, but he can also perform un-failable Blitzes (thanks to Animal Savagery ) to clear a path for your speedy Piranha Warriors. I’m kind of starting to fall in love with Glotl a little bit. Maybe they could put him on a t-shirt for me. Lastly I added a big guy and thought that an ogress was the least controversial choice and just lifted it from the human roster. Two more issues of White Dwarf are being added to the Warhammer Vault . Issues 332 and 333 hail from 2007 and feature Gondor and the Chaos Space Marines as cover stars, respectively. You can also upgrade your Space Wolves units with heads and shoulder pads. You get eleven heads in total – nine Legionary helmets, a decorated officer’s helmet, and a bare head. The other upgrade set offers 10 moulded shoulder pads featuring the Legion icon. The adventures of Uriel Ventris continue in Courage and Honour . Available as an audiobook for the first time, you can follow the Ultramarines 4th Company as they desperately try to defend Pavonis from the T’au Empire . Does the Codex Astartes contain the wisdom to defeat the rising xenos threat, or will Ventris have to go off book? DaemonslayerAlready a pretty strong team at low team values and despite first appearance can hit pretty hard. I believe they drop off at higher values due to low armour and their across the board Dodge being negated a lot more. GW have just put out the new 2020 Teams of Legend. Some strange choices there that I expect we may see a revised version come out fairly promptly: I would be happy to see the Slann players keep Leap/Very Long Legs, but drop their price by 5k to go with the nerf to leap. Their only saving grace is how cheap they are, which allows them to at least attempt to be competitive in an early or short league. Now, if they had a unique player class, perhaps a warrior princess (if thats not too cliche’d) who could give the team some punch or possibly some staying power…or hell even some agility…

Throwers: I can actually see these ladies getting 2+ for passing. As throwers go they aren’t that good. Sure they get dodge and pass, but they don’t get safe hands. Zons tend to lean more towards a running game than passing, so this could really shake up how they play. 5k increase if they get 2+, otherwise they would stay the same price. For a double increase as you start with Dodge, Side Step is the other great option. If you already have Stand Firm then don’t bother with it. Likewise if you get Side Step, then don’t bother taking Stand Firm either. I can’t really see any other double choices that would be much use, perhaps Jump Up. I wouldn’t take it early on though but as a late choice I can see it being effective.
