About this deal

Euler 3D performs heavy floating-point and multi-threaded tasks that leverage resources in a similar manner to heavy-duty compiling and simulation. This is done using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and measures output "as a CFD cycle frequency in Hertz." Caselab defines their software's test sequence with great specificity, stating: We have a brand new test bench that we assembled for the 2013-2014 period! Having moved away from our trusty i7-930 and GTX 580, the new bench includes the below components: GN Test Bench 2013 Some standard benchmarking practices will go undetailed. Starting with a clean image, for instance, doesn't need much explanation.

The new Fury RAM is branded as just "HyperX Fury" with no "Kingston" in the tag at all, part of the company's new direction to further differentiate the HyperX gaming business unit from its core. HyperX Fury RAM Specs Density HyperX FURY DDR4 is a complete line of dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs). They are natively 64 bits and developed for fast data transfer. Release Date and Price HyperX FURY DDR4 is a quality memory for home users. Is it worth the hype, or should you go for a different brand? Buy it if… Each test was conducted numerous times for parity. The shorter tests were run 5 times (Euler 3D, MaxxMem, Cinebench), the longer tests were run 3 times - because we do have publication deadlines (Handbrake, Premiere, After Effects), and the tests that produced varied results were run until we felt they were producing predictable outcomes (Cinebench). All of these were averaged into a single subset of numbers for the tables. There are four main types of HyperX FURY DDR4 models, all available in various capacities, speeds, and CAS latencies: This is pasted from our multichannel RAM benchmark, where we tested dual- vs. single-channel platform configurations. For this test, the CPU was configured at 4.2GHz (instead of our usual 4.4GHz) with a vCore of 1.265V. Weather - Electrical storms can increase the ESD risk; unless absolutely necessary, try not to work on a computer during an electrical storm. In very dry areas, the air itself becomes a part of the electrostatic build-up mechanism every time there is an air flow (wind, air conditioning, blower) passing over an insulated surface.Do not let high humidity levels build a false confidence, and beware of corrosion problems with interconnects and other electrical interfaces. HyperX FURY DDR4 is the perfect choice for gamers and content creators who want to update their system without going over the top with a DDR5 option. Its greatest advantage compared to regular RAMs is the low power consumption, which results in a cooler and quieter PC.

The best method of preventing ESD is to use an ESD wrist strap or a grounding mat or table. However, because most users do not have access to these items, we have included the below steps to help reduce the chance of ESD as much as possible. HyperX FURY DDR4 memory comes in a variety of single modules and kits. Beyond specs and performance, they all share common features. Design Also available as 32GB (2x16GB) and 64GB (4x16GB) sets, HyperX Fury RGB is, in many ways, an exercise in design restraint. Modules measure 41.24mm tall, enabling them to fit into the widest range of systems, while the timings are either CL15 or CL16 depending upon speed. HyperX is aiming at the meat of the market by equipping them with either a 1.2V or 1.35V operating voltage.

Note: Kingston is in no way responsible for any problems resulting from flashing the BIOS. Flashing the BIOS is merely a troubleshooting suggestion. Customers who flash the BIOS do so at their own risk. All instructions on how to upgrade the BIOS will be provided by the computer manufacturer or the 3rd party BIOS manufacturer and not by Kingston.

The Fury S Pro does have stitched edges but they don’t seem to be of the highest quality, at least not on my sample. It’s not really a problem and it didn’t interfere with anything at all (the stitching also didn’t bother my wrist or arm) but that could be something they can improve on in the future. Hyper X Fury S Pro XL Conclusion Compatibility with HyperX NGENUITY makes it easy to set the desired light bar colorway or manage settings directly from your HyperX keyboard. Alternatively, you could use the motherboard’s software for the same purpose. The low profile also makes the memory compatible with all desktop systems, no matter how compact. Chipset Compatibility RAM was purged between all tests. No active memory management programs were present outside of the default, clean Windows installation. STARS Euler 3D: CFD Simulation PerformanceThis is where the HyperX FURY DDR4 steps in, providing users with a performing and visually appealing memory option. The modules feature an asymmetric design with a low-profile heat spreader. Undoubtedly, the most appealing option is the RGB one, which lights up in various colors. The HyperX Fury S Pro XLdoes everything right if you’re looking for a consistent pad with a medium (edging on fast) glide. It starts off a tad bit faster, but that initial faster feeling wears off after some time. Still, the glide and performance of the Fury S Pro is very respectable and I would definitely not feel bad if someone shoved this pad underneath my mouse and told me to use it in a competitive environment. It’s very comfortable to play on and it never slipped away on me when playing, which is due to a combination of the great rubber texturing on the underside of the pad and the weight of it. I test these pads for consistency on a variety of surfaces and I always try to make them move in outlandish ways which would frankly never happen in actual gaming circumstances, but the Fury S held tight all throughout. Looking at read speeds (file read), similar results are presented with the exception of the Vengeance Pro memory marginally outranking the Fury kit. The results thus far are relatively uninteresting, beyond the high performance exhibited by ADATA's kit. As for the subjective, aesthetics stuff, I'm a big fan of the matte white color -- it looks excellent with the white H440 we reviewed.

Clothes - Make sure not to wear any clothing that conducts a lot of Electrical Charge, such as a wool sweater. For desktop computers, shut down and unplug your computer and open the case. Please note: The higher capacity memory should be installed in slot 1 followed by the next lower capacity memory in slot 2 and so on. Please refer to your motherboard manual for proper slot identification.First, make sure you have the correct memory for your computer. Please refer to Kingston's onlineMemory Search at www.kingston.com for assistance. After you confirm that you have the correct memory for your system, do the following: Euler 3D is best-used when testing CPUs and memory. The program is freely available through Casealab. Anyone performing simulation or computation-intensive compiling tasks will benefit from these numbers; if you're in these categories, use this benchmark to judge how much multi-channeling matters to you. MaxxMem: Memory Copy, Read, Write, Latency, & Bandwidth Performance The benchmark testcase is the AGARD 445.6 aeroelastic test wing. The wing uses a NACA 65A004 airfoil section and has a panel aspect ratio of 1.65, a taper ratio of 0.66, and a 45 degree quarter-chord sweep angle. This AGARD wing was tested at the NASA Langley Research Center in the 16-foot Transonic Dynamics Tunnel and is a standard aeroelastic test case used for validation of unsteady, compressible CFD codes. Figure 1 shows the CFD predicted Mach contours for a freestream Mach number of 0.960.
