The Now works with Polaroid i-Type or 600 film, both of which were previously made by Impossible Project and now sold under the Polaroid moniker. Like the Now, the Now+ packs a new autofocus, which uses IR to choose between the camera’s two lenses, and there’s also a more accurate flash which means that more details are captured in each shot.

Switching from Auto to Bulb mode via a button on the back allows you to experiment with long exposures, night shots or light painting. The film is very sensitive to light so it needs to be shielded as you take it out from the camera’s ‘tongue’ which unfurls along with the print to keep it covered. There are also a couple of interchangeable shutter button stickers for a bit of extra personalisation. However, once you’ve mastered the settings, you'll be able to really take advantage of that fantastic wide-angle lens. It is styled like a disposable camera, with the only manual control on option being a flash on/off button - but it can be used multiple film.
