Ultimately, though, this is a thoroughly gripping buddy movie begging to be made, in which the underdogs – canine, human, insectoid and otherwise – school everyone in true grit and loyalty. The different creatures and challenges they meet on their journey up the mountain are incredibly exciting too, and it`s great to see them find such clever ways to get out of sticky situations.
